Despite her dire situation, Jennifer managed to call 911 after being shot by a stray bullet that entered her home. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries before help could reach her. Authorities have arrested 20-year-old Ebenezer Worku, who confessed to accidentally discharging his firearm from his vehicle. He is currently facing first-degree murder charges and is being held on a $1.25 million bond.
Jennifer’s daughter, Ashley, expressed the profound loss, stating, “It feels like a cruel joke that she survived so much, only to be taken from us like this.” A memorial service was held on May 14 to celebrate Jennifer’s remarkable life and enduring legacy.
